March 17 to 24: Haramara Retreat, Mexico, a glorious and peaceful place to unwind and practice deeply. An easy 45 minute shuttle, provided by Haramara, from Puerto Vallarta. I’m returning because the first year was so rich – deeply relaxing and revitalizing. 2 yoga classes a day overlooking the ocean – an invigorating morning class, and a restorative class with meditation in the late afternoon. In between classes rest, enjoy incredible bodywork, play at the beach (other activities on the Haramara web site), or take a walk into nearby Sayulita. Wonderful food, with loving attention to individual needs, classic sunsets from the dining area. Accommodations (tucked into the jungle on the path down to the beach) are simultaneously simple and luxurious with ocean views, no electricity, each with its own spectacular outside, yet private, shower. Haramara website shows the center beautifully with lots of information. Email Robert@haramararetreat.com for pricing and registration.
May 24 to 27: Extended weekend of Yoga and Zen meditation with Patricia and Eijin Linda Cutts, Abiding Abbess at Green Gulch Farm. 4 PM Thursday through lunch on Sunday. More information on the Green Gulch web site soon.
June 24-29 and August 5-10: Tassajara Zen and Yoga Retreats. I teach with Eijin Linda Cutts, former Abbess of San Francisco Sen Center and Abiding Abbess at Green Gulch in Marin County. I love teaching with Linda. The hot springs at Tassajara and the new yoga space make this destination especially conducive to dropping in to practice and nature to restore and revitalize you. Registrations begin in February.
